Transactions on Data Science with Applications (TDSA) participates in the Crossmark initiative to help readers identify the current and authoritative version of each published article. Selecting the Crossmark icon displays the document’s current status and provides access to relevant publication-record information, including any corrections, retractions, or other updates. TDSA maintains its published content and informs readers when a post-publication change is required. Journal content is preserved through its designated digital archiving systems. Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions are issued in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and current scholarly publishing practices. An article may be retracted when there is clear evidence that its findings are unreliable because of misconduct or an unintentional error. Retraction may also be appropriate in cases of redundant publication, plagiarism, unethical research, or other serious breaches of publication ethics. When evidence of research or publication misconduct is inconclusive, the journal may issue an expression of concern while the matter is investigated. A correction may be published when a limited part of an otherwise reliable article contains an error or misleading information. Corrections may also address an inaccurate author or contributor list. A change in authorship does not normally require retraction when there is no reason to question the validity of the article’s findings. All post-publication notices are linked to the original article, and the Crossmark record is updated to show its current status.
